The GemoAid brand was invented by Guy Borenstein, FGA EGG, a leading Israeli gemologist with over 10-year hands-on experience in the fields of gem identification and laboratory daily work, with the assistance of physicists and mechanical engineers specializing in the development of plastic- and metal-based solutions.
The idea behind GemoAid products is to provide a new series of low-cost add-on devices, adjustable to most available gemological instrument models in the market, enabling the enhancement of their testing capabilities.
The GemoAid products, designed by a combination of gemological and mechanical engineering knowledge, are all multi-purpose instruments, which can be used for many applications, and include uniquely patent-pending solutions for certain gem tests. They are all designed to be small-sized, light-weight and portable, and are offered for an affordable price to allow all industry members, professionals and hobbyists alike, to have them.
