An inner look into wispy veils shows the fingerprint-like pattern of the flux. A good hint to differentiate these from natural fingerprints is by examining the "stickiness of the paddles." Flux fingerprints tend to look more sticky and connected to each other, while the trapped liquids in natural fingerprints are more isolated. However, this thumb rule has many exceptions.
